Data

Our experienced global Data team advises on all aspects of data, including on privacy, “big data”, confidentiality, secrecy, IP rights, commercialisation, cyber and crisis response

Our global Data team specialises in providing pragmatic, operationalised data advice that draws on their experience on advising across the world’s most complex compliance, commercial and contentious issues.

We provide holistic data advice, using our 30+ years’ experience in this space to bring you innovative, practical and, above-all, implementable advice. While less experienced practitioners see roadblocks everywhere, we pride ourselves on being business enablers, helping you to leverage the value of your data responsibly. Our team is truly global and spans over 100 lawyers in Asia, the U.S and Europe.

Our internal Global Data Working group meets regularly, helping us to share and leverage global knowledge of not just what the law says, but what we are seeing in the market and from regulators.

All of our privacy experts are also technology and commercial lawyers. This means that they understand the environment and market in which you work and can workshop innovative ideas for uses of data with you agilely, bringing the full breadth of their skillsets to bear.

Our advice on data is wide-ranging, covering compliance, analytics, new AI tools, the Internet of Things, facial recognition, adtech, binding corporate rules applications, data investigations and litigation, cyber breach, enforcement, competition concerns and more.

We advise clients in many sectors, including in the highly regulated financial services, healthcare and insurance sectors.
